Brian Gluckstein, Chair of this year’s Constellation of Distinction, summarized the program perfectly when he said, “Philanthropy is what makes our Hospital extraordinary, and it’s up to us to keep it that way.” Joining Mount Sinai Hospital’s annual Constellation of Distinction campaign provides a unique opportunity to be recognized as part of a very special group of Mount Sinai supporters who understand the importance of donating to the Hospital’s highest priority needs. We raised over $1 million in our inaugural year, and are now full swing into our second year. Funds raised by this campaign – from people like YOU – help us continue to provide the excellent care that is synonymous with Mount Sinai. We need your help more than ever!
The Constellation is the lifeblood of our Hospital. It is a group of stars that shine their light on the patients of Mount Sinai. Last year, the Constellation helped us purchase new equipment, including an innovative, intra-operative nerve monitoring system, enabling surgeons to identify, confirm, and monitor motor nerve function during a variety of surgeries to help reduce the risk of nerve damage. We were also able to develop and implement outstanding new programs, like our Patient Navigator Program. Patient navigators are specially trained professionals who assist in the co-ordination of care for patients with complex diseases. They help the patient navigate the treatment process both within Mount Sinai Hospital as well as aiding in the transition to outpatient care. They go a long way to help make an otherwise daunting process significantly more manageable.
Gifts at all levels are greatly appreciated, and everyone who supports Mount Sinai’s highest priority needs becomes a valued member of our Constellation of Distinction. Each person who makes a special gift of $2,500 or more will have their name proudly displayed in a prominent area of Mount Sinai, forming an even stronger and brighter Constellation for all to see.
You have the power to help us shine even brighter. Please give today.
