This event is being held in memory of Harry Barberian - proceeds from this event will be directed to support the residents, fellows and junior faculty conducting research and pursuing careers in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, Mount Sinai Hospital, University of Toronto.

The Da Vinci Gala, for Thyroid Cancer Care and Research, is in support of the Joseph and Mildred Sonshine Family Centre for Head and Neck Diseases and the Alex and Simona Shnaider Laboratory in Molecular Oncology. The gala dinner includes a silent auction, as well as live entertainment. This is the eighth annual Da Vinci Gala, and the 2013 honourees are Mr. and Mrs. Michael and Grace DeGasperis.

The Mount Sinai Classic, presented by Equitable Trust and MDC Partners, is celebrating its 19th year. The event is organized by Leadership Sinai, the young professional group at Mount Sinai Hospital. Proceeds from the event will support Mount Sinai’s outstanding research, medicine and patient care. Since its inception, this event has raised in excess of $4.5 million.
